ADVENTURE-SPECIFIC STEERING DAMPER

The adventure bike-specific RM3 steering damper unit has a wide range of adjustments with 22 position adjusters with an extremely easy-to-use shape dial. Taking care of the return to centre dampening is our very effective "Active RTC" valves which allow the rider to counter steering in a hurry just like a steering damper with zero damping on return to center, but when you need a damper that has less wiggle in the middle like on big high-speed straight roads or tracks the RM3 will hold you with a postive planted feel in your hands. It's like having both a damper with zero RTC and full damping RTC all in one unit that activates automatically when you need it.

The BMW F800GS was actually one of the first Ralle-Moto Adventure products we made way back in 2008 so you can be sure that the fit and finish is very well refined now 8 years later! Installing the kit is possible at home in your garage if you have good mechanical knowledge and a moderate tool kit at your disposal.

The only modification you will need to do is leave out the 2 screws down on the side of the ignition cover. The cover is still held on with 4 more screws so it is still very secure and is unnoticeable once the kit is fitted. - (you can elongate the holes by 3mm if you wish to still use the 2 side screws)

Your handle bars will be 25mm higher than standard making your ride not only safer with the RM3 steering damper but it will be significantly more comfortable in the saddle!

With the steering damper installed you will notice a huge improvement straight away with the F800GS/GSA in sand, rock and mud, but don't let this fool you if you do not ride offroad! If you have a pillion onboard on the street you will benefit from a big reduction in weaving and awesome gains in stability entering corners and on hard acceleration.
