Isolated Anti-Vibration/Impact Damping Stem
The SYNCRO Stem isolates your bar clamp from your steerer tube using polyurethane damper bushes, so the trail chatter dies in the stem, not your hands.
YOUR FORK CAN'T CATCH EVERYTHING.
Your suspension is built for the big hits. The small, fast stuff - braking bumps, roots, rock chatter, hardpack buzz - is too quick for the fork to soak up. It goes straight through a rigid stem, into your bars, into your hands.
That's where arm pump, numb fingers and sore wrists come from. By the bottom of a long descent, it's your grip that gives out first.
The Syncro goes after the buzz your fork can't.
HOW DOES IT WORK
Consistent feedback amongst test riders and customers is that it makes the forks feel like they react faster on small choppy bumps and square edge hits, often described as the fork's first few millimetres of stroke feeling much more compliant.
The polyurethane doesn’t have any mechanical binding and can react and absorb with no hesitation for sharp bumps, allowing a split second for the fork to get moving and do its job.
NO METAL TO METAL PATH
The bar clamp never touches the stem directly. The main clamp body sits on cast polyurethane bushes that allow the handlebar assembly to be completely isolated from the steerer tube
DAMPING BUSHES ABSORB TRAIL CHATTER
High-frequency trail chatter gets soaked up through the damping bushes, enabling distribution of impacts and vibrations before reaching your hands. This increases compliance without losing front end feel.
STEERING STAYS LOCKED IN
The Damper Bushes are pre-loaded and shaped to to resist twist, allowing for precise steering and front end feel.
CALM, NOT VAGUE.
The number one question every rider asks: Does it making your steering feel "soft"? No.
The SYNCRO Stem isolates your vibration, not your steering. The cones are tuned to absorb small, fast movements while staying firm under the big, slow loads of steering and pulling on the bars.
You get a more compliant cockpit with the same precise front end.
